A Wisconsin teenager, accused of murdering his mother and stepfather, allegedly had far darker and more dangerous plans than authorities first realized. Nikita Casap, 17, is now facing multiple charges related to the brutal killings of his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51, in February 2025. But investigators say the murders were only the beginning of a much more chilling plot.
A Broader Conspiracy Uncovered
After Nikita Casap’s arrest on February 28, 2025, police quickly discovered that the teenager had been planning to leave the country, with evidence pointing to communications with unknown parties in Russia. His flight from the scene, and the cryptic messages found on his devices, sent investigators on a trail that uncovered something far more disturbing.
“A Political Revolution”
In a newly unsealed federal court document, authorities revealed the disturbing contents of a search warrant related to Casap’s electronic devices. The evidence they found painted a disturbing picture: Nikita Casap allegedly planned to carry out a political revolution in the U.S., with the goal of assassinating former President Donald Trump and overthrowing the U.S. government.
An interview with a classmate of Casap’s revealed that the teenager had openly discussed plans to “overthrow the government” and assassinate Trump, while working on creating bombs and terrorist attacks. The authorities also discovered a three-page manifesto, titled “Accelerate the Collapse”, which Casap had written detailing his intentions.
Manifesto of Hate
The manifesto, according to authorities, contained horrific ideologies. It espoused views aimed at “saving the white race” from what Casap referred to as “Jewish-controlled” politicians. Disturbingly, it featured images of Adolf Hitler with the words “HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY”.
In what is a deeply unsettling revelation, the manifesto outlined a clear plan to “get rid of the president and perhaps the vice president”, making explicit references to attacking Donald Trump.
Links to Violent Extremism
Investigators also found disturbing references to the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), a satanic cult known for encouraging extreme violence, terrorism, and other heinous acts. The group has been flagged by the FBI for its anti-Judaic, anti-Christian, and anti-Western ideologies. Casap’s apparent connection to this group further fueled suspicions that his plan was rooted in violent extremism.
Authorities believe that Casap had already paid for materials — including a drone and explosives — to carry out his attacks, including using the devices as weapons of mass destruction. They theorized that Casap’s violent actions against his parents may have been financially motivated, allowing him to access the resources needed to fund his horrific plans.
Recruiting for the Revolution
Police also found evidence that Casap had tried to recruit others to help him carry out his vision of a “political revolution”. It appears that Casap’s intentions were far-reaching, and the murders of his parents were only one piece of his much larger, ideologically-driven plot.
The Legal Fallout
Casap has been charged with nine felonies, including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of hiding a corpse. He is currently being held without bail and is scheduled for arraignment on May 9, where he will face the full weight of the charges against him.
As the investigation continues, authorities are working to piece together the full extent of Casap’s plans and whether others were involved or could have been recruited to join his violent cause. The disturbing nature of his plot serves as a grim reminder of the growing risks posed by domestic extremism and radical ideologies in the United States.
